Check co-founded Ada with Matt in 2018 and has been a pre-seed investor for over ten years. She is a former Downing Ventures principal and a venture advisor for Seraphim Capital and started her career in advertising and marketing. Check backs founders who are obsessed with their customers as they build a once-in-a-lifetime business solving the world's biggest problems.

Check is stubbornly optimistic about most things in life and believes that individuals with the right access and support, have the power to change the world for the better. She loves diving deep with founders into their customer data, figuring out go to market strategy, communications and culture building. When not working with founders and the team at Ada she chairs the non-profit she co-founded, Diversity VC. She's also a parent of two young children who keep her and her husband constantly on their toes. She’s also a keen tennis player, golfer and occasional cold water swimmer, usually in the North Sea.
